Nonexistant Fairytale

If I'm only dreaming,
That means this isn't real,
No happily ever after,
No chance the pain will heal.

My knight in shining armour,
Just another character in a fantasy,
He doesn't belong to this world,
He won't be saving me.

This all consuming darkness,
This pain and hurt I hold inside,
He can't bring deliverance,
He can't dry the tears I've cried.

I know he isn't real,
He can't take me by the hand,
No one is going to hold me close,
No one will really understand.

My deepest darkest fear,
Laid out for all to see,
I'm scared of being alone forever,
Scared no one will ever want to be with me.

    Wow! this one was powerful. it's how i feel usually all the times. feeling no on would love me. live in this world all alone. I just love it. the word u choose were amazing. it made tears fall from my eyes. it was just a big WOW! Keep it up!

    Wonderful poem and many can relate to it.
    those feelings of yours i understand completely. my advice to you is to be patient and wait more time, you don't want to end up with fake love relationship do you? and while you wait polish your innner beauty because this is the real beauty and once you do you will find your real knight who looks for beauty inside and outside is just a bonus...
