Can You Hear Me?

Can you hear me, I'm calling,
Don't you care that I am falling?
Right now I'm down in this dark hole,
I feel like I'm losing complete control.

Still here waiting just for you,
Do you know what I'm going through?
Darkness is creeping slowly inside,
I don't know how much longer I can hide.

Soon I must get out on my own,
And face the world all alone.
I need your guidance and advice,
Do I really have to ask you twice?

Can you hear my desperate plead,
Of how much I am truly in need?
All I want is a good and real friend,
Someone who stays with me till the end.

But you have proved to be nothing like that,
Instead, you are a selfish and know-it-all brat.
You said you didn't have time for me,
And was to busy to help with my plea.

So I will move on in life trying to survive,
Hoping to be successful and to thrive.
I will never be able to forget you at all
And how you never did hear my call.
