Everytime We Touch

Everytime we touch, I can see the spark
How your eyes twinkle even in the dark
Sending me all the love you have inside
Affecting every sense that I need to hide

Everytime we touch, I can feel I'm alive
Without you my love, how will I survive
You are every breath that I long to take
Only with you baby I feel warm and safe

Everytime we touch, heaven is where I am at
Savoring the taste of one moment delight
Hands shivering as our bodies intertwined
Closed eyes as our lips eagerly entwined

Everytime we touch, two hearts beat as one
You are to me I am to you bear that in mind
Touch me forever with your magic hand
Life is being near you, do you understand?

    This title immediately brought a certain song to mind. It began wonderfully, the flor and rythym were superb. You're repetition was great, "Everytime we touch" and yet using this also didn't take away from it from you wanting to make it sound any certain way.

    "Everytime we touch, two hearts beat as one
    You are to me I am to you bear that in mind
    Touch me forever with your magic hand
    Life is being near you, do you understand? "

    This ending was phenomonal. It ended well an ending to a bittersweet story. 5/5

    I have to say, I came into this poem a little skeptically- afraid it might be some twist on the song. Aside from the somewhat interrupted rhyme scheme, I was pleasantly surprised. For once, a love poem I can stomach! Congrats on a good write.
