The Crowd

by Light A Way   Mar 22, 2009

Not a single ordinary, human hand,
Could every recreate a masterpiece like him,
Way too complex for normal minds to understand,
Overwhelming for average eyes to look at

Strikingly brilliant to plain, usual people,
They never can seem to make sense of his beauty,
He is a rare one that not many get to see,
Only the extraordinary others get a closer glimpse

To standard onlookers he is but a mystery,
The typical bunch only admire in fascination,
He is overly alluring so people just stop and stare,
They keep their focus on him as they can't turn away

He watches them intently as they gather around,
His piercing eyes hypnotize the general crowd,
The one's who are well-known make their way to him,
Each face that goes by is just as classic as his

Not a single sound is made as the public concentrates,
The movement of the way he walks is mesmerizing,
His features are beyond anything this world has seen,
The air is filled with the sweet aroma he gives off

Amazement fills every single soul around him,
The faces are entranced as he turns his back to them,
He walks the other way from the millions staring at him,
Not once looking back at the average, ordinary, plain crowd

Excellent new poem, you created such a real and unexplainable setting. Your descriptions were so clear and vivid, it was like I was there. Good wording, this piece really blew me away, nice work, keep it up.
    5/5 from me, take care....
