Will you pacify?

by Lonely Rider   May 29, 2009

Oh Rain!! will you quench
the thirst of crimson blanket
wrapped on mankind's face
WILL YOU PACIFY?
wrapped on mankind's face
the thirst of crimson blanket
Oh Rain!! will you quench

The word is QUENCH. Quence is merely a rare surname. (correct me if there's some other usage that escapes me). And words like 'crimson' are absolute cliches and must be avoided unless you're trying to create some sort of an irony (like making a reference to a cliche by using one).

I guess I liked your other piece better though I have to admit that it's difficult to write structured poetry.

    Raj,
I love the power behind the use of the all capital letters line. It brings to light the importance of the rain and the need for it to quench the heat. Such a demanding verse you have penned and a beautiful one as well. Well done.
