Perfect Cadence

by Malboros pipe   Nov 22, 2009

In the valley of maroon pearls,
Nature sings with perfect pitch,
While white roses and beautiful girls,
Roaming around in circles and twirls.

The trees wave to the open roofed sky,
Rivers lay back and float in peace,
People in cars, watch as the birds fly high,
Friendly dogs, watch as the cars go by.

As the horizon glistens a tangerine light,
Days fade into a Perfect Cadence,
We watch the stars fuse up in our sight,
In the valley of maroon pearls, We settle into the night.

This kind of poem reminds me of my style of writing & that poem "Ill Always Love You, Big Bro" was actually a song I made, not an official one, so to speak, but it's meant to be one.
