meaning of life
None knows what fate has in store
whether life will sail on or midway just sink
blind beliefs wait by the shore
foolishness dies in a blink
fate can't be altered for its written in ink Lira:
A 5 line Spanish poetry form
with syllable counts of 7-11-7-7-11
and a rhyme scheme of ababb
Wonderful job on the Lira Meena
I really love this form. It allows so much to be said in so few lines.

Very nice and very short - even better. I think this work of your is very well penned and the words chosen seem to fit perfectly! Bravo!

The Lira is a short and lovely format and I know from experience it's difficult to make a short poem like this interesting to read.
You succeeded however and gave the reader al lot to ponder upon.
I too believe that the course of our life is already known and we get to fill in the little details, the ones that make us unique.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Fate is definatly an interesting topic & one that is interesting to hear the thoughts of others on. I loved the ending, how fate is written in ink and can't be altered. Nicely done.
