Counterfeit Reality

Counterfeit Reality

Counterfeit emotions swirl,
Mystifying blaring virtuality,
probing electronic socket,
scans scorching August sky.

Binocular vision-rummages
through rotten humanity,
Concrete city of metal
panics on a curved future.

Basket of ancient blossoms,
showcased in gallery,
symbolizing - sphere of life
that existed, once upon a time.

*Claps* This was brillant!! I was so happy you joined the contest. You used your words sooo well. I was speechless when I finished reading it. I really didn't know what to say or think. That's how amazing this piece was and how stunned it left me. I love how you used the words and didn't just toss them around. Their placement wasn't awkward or anything. I also love the whole idea of the poem, really blows my mind. Anyways you're a genius. This was great :) Nik

The beauty of our world, mother nature is
been slowly wiped away and taken over by
technology & artificial things. I liked the title
as well as the read..very well penned :)
