Lazy Days...

by Dreamofolwin   Apr 14, 2010

Lazy days spent in the sun...
counting daisies every one.
Music playing by my side,
seeking somewhere I could hide

Just to sit and drift away...
contemplating, mind at play.
Escaping all the mad race game,
wanting somewhere to be sane.

This quiet park's my place to be
I love the peace, tranquillity.
Forever here my heart could stay
Just quietly musing day by day

But life it calls me back again,
down to its lower, mundane plane.
It's course to follow what 'ere may be,
myself ... it's hidden reality.

Spending lazy days in the sun, maybe it is escaping from reality but what a way to do it. Well done.

At times we have to get away & escape to that tranquility. It isn't so pleasant to return back to reality, but nature has its way of making us feel relaxed, how beautiful was this write; you did a flawless job. Really wish I had more time like this to myself.

OMG! this was amazing. i could picture myself just sitting in this park. doing the same thing. day dreaming and being at complete peace.

but then i come down from my dream and there is my homework starring me in the face, then there is my debt for my car, got to clean my room, and then bam! where did my peace and quiet go?

5/5 and im going to favorite this.
