Fallen Down

by Jad   Jul 23, 2010

Life filled with love,
Not a care in the world.
Too bad I've never known it,
Always below the weather not above.

Life is slowing down.
Hate builds up and hurts,
Hurts me and my life
And all those around.

Feelings I've known forever
-Sorrow, pain, and loneliness-
Trying to catch a glimpse of hope,
But all the strands are severed.

Why am I falling and staying down?
Unable to try not even once.
Regret fills the lines in my face,
Fallen down on the ground I'm bound.

I can feel the pessimism in this piece but I think we all go through this stage, thinking that nobody will love us or that it will come our way, but just like Sylvia said it's still early & when you find the right person you'll know that it's right. Great job

You're young yet so in time you will know love. It may not seem that way now but it will change. Only thing I see is in 1st verse, 3rd line know should be known. Well done Austin.
