Everythings Gone

by Jad   Aug 11, 2010

-Destroying all I know-
-Holding on so tight-
-Feeling so low-
Now where's the light?

The emptiness speaks to me,
Echoing in the night so vast.
Of all that I can see,
Trying to make a contrast.

Losing what I've known,
I try so hard to hold on
But feeling so alone
With everything now gone.

Words are empty as blank paper.
Nothing matters now today.
My life is going away as a vapor;
Everything has begun to decay.

Ending the beginning has begun,
All I can do now is slowly watch.
Time has reached the end of its run
As my eyes are covered--blotched.

Your sadness crys from this piece.

    Losing what I've known,

    But feeling so alone
    With everything now gone.

This stanza really caught my eye. It is so hard when you have lost so much. You can feel alone even in a room full of people.
    Great job!
    take care

The light will shine through eventually, if you wait patiently. A really sad write, each word filled with lots of emotion; but you wrote it perfectly & everything linked together very nicely. Well done
