Less Traveled By

by Sunshine   Jan 17, 2011

Boundlessly tossing into the ocean,
gathering jewels from the muddled
surface.

Crowded, crowded harmonically
with alphabetical seeds,asking for
a dwelling secret that's surfacing
with reluctance,yet sailing for the
sun.

Seeking light that's emerging through
knowledge,an ultimate devotion for
words.

Unforgettable history acquainted with
endless nights, sunsets and dawns
engraved on the forehead of infinity.

Forever escaping reality;
where time flies like a speakless
tongue dipped in a painless ink

Seeking poetry in indifferent vales,
as rivulets flow from mind to mind
rippling love for wistful hearts.

Opening new doors only for those who seek;
the roads "Less Traveled By".

    ..you words continue to give gem-encrusted evidence that you
    are a deep and darling and conscientiously
    spiritual young woman..

    I hear you have a baby...how fortunate that
    this baby came to you..
    may you always lift each other up with
    poetically musical heartfelt
    rhythm, ritual, and reverence..

    ..I am quite touched by this poetic gem..

    I left the criticism from above and I have come to praise your awesomeness! This poem was beautiful and the message was what really got me. It was very deep and I could sense it in all the lines. You seem to have been able to hold it throughout the poem which is very hard to do. The poem itself was really good with its flow. As it didn't break up any parts making it hard to read and also the imagery in this piece was stunning. It was as if you had drawn the images with your words and creatively placed them into your poem.

    "Seeking light that's emerging through
    knowledge,an ultimate devotion for
    words."

    I don't know why but this really stood out to me. I liked tremendously the last part about the devotion for words. What a great word choice. Also it is true that we see more once we learn more but we also realize how much we don't know when we learn more.

    In all I thought this to be a really good poem that held a message that one could easily see and that so many can also relate to. Once again thank you for the wonderful read and I can't wait to see what you put out next. Great job and keep writing.
