The Unknown Force

by Jenna Bella Oldridge   Jan 20, 2011

Who is holding me to ransom?
Who is raping my soul?
Who holds the knife?
Who has the control?

Who is taking me under?
Who possesses my heart?
Who has the power to tear,
Me apart

Who is playing with my feelings?
Who is watching me fall?
Who is boxing me in?
Who is closing these walls?

I love this poem because I have asked myself most of these questions before about my own life. I am sure that other people feel the same as well

Sometimes we feel we're no in control of anything and sometimes it's us that is doing the damage

    Great poem

These are questions that scream from so many people around the world and its actuallty quite sad for me to read. Im a free spirited happy person and it makes me feel so gloomy knowing people hold these questions and dont enjoy life to the fullest :(

Looks like Britt and nano picked the poem apart, no critiquing here! Good job

I feel as if anyone can relate with this because we all go through a stage in our lives where we don't know who is in control. I liked it, simple yet effective.

So many questions to which answers are unknown but sometimes when we look deep inside..that person is just us. We ourselves are doing it..nicely done.

As the lovely people above me said, this is charged with a lot of emotion and it seems to me that it was written in a time of distress. I've asked myself so many questions and I never really found the answers, but I hope you do. Another good piece by you. 5/5 = )
