Incomplete

A victim of her own demise,
to the flaws of her heart, and the loss of her pride.
the lonely soul of a broken child, the drowned out cries,
what happened to her they ask, simple really, a boy lied.
Not just any boy, and she's not just any girl.
She handed him her heart without even a second thought,
Now she's fallen, can't seem to reach for help, suffocating in her own little world.
and he's walked away, without an ounce of distraught.

Take her by the arms, lift her up and you will see,
a girl of displaced memories and shattered dreams.
A girl drowning in the abyss of a heart break sea,
but she should have known, nothing is as great as it seems.
