Nightly Tale (Trois-par-Huit)

by Lonely Rider   Aug 31, 2011

Summer bloom,
soaked in grey moonlit gloom,
among sighs of eerie copper sky.

Slowly rises dawn, sweeping off darkness thereby,
splashing infectious smiles weaving purple reply,

dew drops await in lingering veil,
whispering in detail,
nightly tale.

I've missed your poems and the internal beauty of each word. You've only gotten better since I have been gone.

You've done a very perfect job with this poem, its in no way easy to come up with ideas for such a poem, yet you've done a magnificent job, the rhyming scheme was unbelievably good. Worth the full grade :)
