The Diary Of Tears ( Seven )

by ADEL   Jan 5, 2012

Once as I was a little shrub swaying happily right and left
surrounded by a warm breeze, my mother and my father whispered to me saying
" one day, on a dear day, you will be a tree laden with tasty fruit "

" Is it true mother? "

" It is my dear "

" Is it father? "

" Certainly "

And now, after nine and twenty years,
during which my mother and my father have both died,
I carry not a single fruit,
but I too got me a little shrub
and yesterday when the breeze was warm,
I tenderly whispered to it saying
" one day, on a dear day, you will be a tree laden with tasty fruit "

I am really kind of nuts about this tree analogy and somehow found this poem to be quite fruitful For my taste I cannot improve the subjective truth delivered here

This is so creative and intruging, yet it seems so simple. I really love this and I think that the word choice is magnificent as is well the entire piece. I see nothing wrong with this piece even. 5/5
