Down Through The Ages (Alphabet Poem).

by Steven Beesley   Jun 14, 2012

Always await for your sweet words,
Becoming part of my expectation that
Causes my heart to beat like a
Drum faster and faster.
Escape is not a option.

Flowers soft, surround me in the
Garden of Eden that I wait for thee.
However long I shall need to wait,
I gladly shall do so until my
Juliet appears in front of me with
Kisses that linger like nectar.

Let me take your hand as we wander,
Making our way through the
Night under the dream like stars,
On us the stardust settles like
Perfect small diamonds.

Queen of my dreams will you
Run with me to where the
Stars are born and where
Together we shall become one with the
Universe.

Vows we shall take that shall
Weave our love and entwine us like a pair of
Xenops from a far distant mystical forest.
Your love shall
Zizz for one thousand lifetimes.

Oh such love in this poem is beautiful.

I read it a couple of times because I think I rused it the first time because I kept thinking "I wonder what he's going to write for the letter Z" and it was awesome.

Loved this poem, the images and flow was beautiful.

    Awesome

This poem flows like magic considering the form its written with. It doesnt seem forced at all, and it holds packs of emotions with every new verse.

I honestly enjoyed reading it so much :)

Aww.. this one was a really well written alphabetical poem, it was lovely and the words just flew along each other.

I like what you did with the letter Z -- Zizz...

when I read an alphabetical poem, I first think about what the author will use for the letters, X and Z. And this one surprised me, well done.
