If You Really Knew Me

by CathyButterflyJC   Jan 16, 2013

If you really knew me you'd know how much I hurt over my best friend and her hard times. If you really knew me you'd know that I write so I don't fall apart. If you really knew me you'd see inside my heart the scars and why they are in so far.

If you really knew me you'd know I use to be shy and why I have to be strong. If you really knew me you'd know most of my writing is a send out to my friends. If you really knew me you'd know that writing is who I am and not to treat it any differently than my need to breathe.

If you really knew me, then you'd know why Natalie means the world to me, why I always talk about her and why her and I tell others that we're a package deal. If you really knew me you'd know why my faith is everything, and I will fight for it as well as for woman's rights. If you really knew me you'd understand my heart.

This is great because it shows that what you write is what you are - and you show parts of why you are this person. I like it because even though I don't know you , I get the sense of the person you are which is a very strong minded and dedicated person. Especially to her writing and her friends.

I love the pride in it, that you will not change who you are because it is you! And I also like how you end it with getting to know your heart, because if you truly know someone, then you are right, you should know their heart!

    Well done

I love this. When I read this one word I thought of was strength. It shows you have strength. I love how close you and your friend Natalie are. I have one friend who is the same way for me. You write with so much feeling I love it.

Awe. Honey, I love it. You paint a fragile picture of yourself... but with a strong main character. :)

It is lovely and most definitely true!
