Mere seconds,
and the whole of eternity;
Searching for starlight
Stolen-
from your eyes.

All those endless nights,
with nothing gained,
nothing found
Except-
lonely hearts
and empty skies.

    This really appealed to me, it was the tone that I could really relate to. Reflective, and sombre. Regretful.

    "starlight, stolen from your eyes"

    Such a powerful line.
