Silent Screams

by -Choke-On-MY-Halo-   Oct 24, 2014

Her voice screams where no one can hear
Living in the shadows of existence,
God's protection lays upon her soul
Blessing her with white angel wings,
Yet she screams with revenge forgotten
Brought back with his venomous lies that
he wrote years ago,

Looking back at poems made by true
innocence
smiling at how horrible she had started
then began to progress.
Haulting at the last poem she ever wrote,
for it was her dying letter,

He wrote that he was sorry for
braking her heart
That he would do anything to make
it better.
His "heart beats" for her
That was a lie!
She was younger then; a teen,
yet an honorable queen.
Unlike the glamorous gilded lies he threw up.

I can hear her cries
That belong to one of the keepers of my heart
I knew her well I was once her real lover,
This is to let her screams be known
She won't be the one with no voice.

The anger, sadness and hurt spills out beautifully through the wording and pace of this poem. Altogether a great piece of great pain.
