Chasing bubbles

by Dagmar Wilson   Mar 8, 2016

I know what it is like
to have someone in my life,
nothing is ever guaranteed.
Seasons come, seasons go
I must move on.

The thought of being alone
had me scared at first,
changing the color on my wall
gave me a new perspective.

I need to stop chasing behind
what hasn't been mine in a very long time.

I love the sentiment of changing the colour of your wall giving you a new perspective. That's something I used to do a lot because its fresh and new and makes anything seem possible

Wow! I have so been there, chasing after someone who has long ago stopped being interested. Being alone can be daunting but I think we all need that time alone to really rediscover ourselves and re-center us. I really liked this. Brenda

Chasing bubbles just to realize they pop when with touch them or they pop right in front of our eyes when we are chasing them.

Nice piece specially the realization that you fear being alone... and overcoming that fear by changing your perspective.
