Popcorn Poetry (Senryu Triplet)

by IdTakeABulletForYou   Jun 23, 2016

When I eat popcorn,
the kernels stick in my mouth.
It's quite annoying.

Why I eat popcorn
when the kernels will get stuck?
I always wonder.

I guess we're willing
to suffer a little for
the things we love most.

This is how I feel about sweets when I know it's going to hurt my tooth every time :( lol

I agree with the last stance. If you are willing to suffer a little for things that you love then it shows that you do, indeed, love those things.

A simple and quirky piece. I like it even though you know I don't like popcorn. XP

S, love this. I'm not sure if popcorn is a connotation for something else though or it is just what it is.

Yes, we do suffer for the things we love.

Great write, I need to try one of these.
