The Hurt Locker

by CJ Maleney   Apr 9, 2017

It's not a place you want to stay
Not somewhere you should be.
Its a place to rant. A place to vent
And let that s#!t go free.

There are not hard rules to follow
It will not fix the hurt.
Just somewhere you can burn your fire
With a lesson hopefully learned.

What is said may not sit well,
But it's thoughts that you will say.
If others cannot accept it
They can f@$€!#g go away.

There is no room for any isim
There is no room for hatred.
Opinions here are welcome,
But Be a tw@t !regret!

The hurt locker is open,
It's time to let things be.
Say the things you want to say
Let your thoughts fly free.

Craig, I liked this a lot. The movie itself was excellent and I can see where you were going with this. As I have gotten older I have learned to say my mind more. I guess it took a lot longer to come into my own plus being in a solid relationship has helped greatly. It's not good to keep things inside, some things you just got to let out for your own mental health. Good job-

      Morning Bren,

As always I liked reading your comments, some people read to much into what I write as where you kinda see the simplicity in things

Obviously the title was inspired by the movie but the bones of the piece is true.

Sometimes we bottle things up that we really should let fly.

      Regards

      Craig
