When Pen meets Paper

Every single time the pen
scratches its tip against the paper
Every single time the paper
Receives that scratch
A hunger wells up inside of me.

This hunger fills the void
in my soul and carries me
faraway, in a dream
An enchantment starts to
overtake from within-
And slowly, the magic turns me
Into a dainty fairy with a pen.

And right where the tip meets the paper
Is where I make my fantasy a reality.

    I mean this is what every writer or poet feels, but no one ever described this feeling like the way you did.
    It is brief, but at the same time I feel that the length is perfect.
