Part One

To my dearest daddy

Today I was born into this world
I’m sure you stood with pride
And watched me whimper for the first time
Those first little cries
of your first born little girl

To my dearest daddy

Today you took me home
I’m sure you placed me gently in the car
And watched out for every bump
I imagine the drive a slow one
With an unsettled baby ready to sleep

To my dearest daddy

Today I turned five years old
I remember getting a trampoline
And jumping until I was sick
You handed me a ton of presents
The smile on your face contagious

To my dearest daddy

Today I turned ten years old
I remember you coming home
Not saying a word
Looking tired and worn out
So I just let it be

To my dearest daddy

Today I am eleven
And once again you have forgot
I’m now sharing a room with the newest baby
So I just quietly go to bed
I guess it’s hard being a daddy to six

To my dearest daddy

Today I turned the big one three
You came home with something odd
My first set of flowers from a man
I saw the love in your eyes for me
For the first time in many years

To my dearest daddy

Today I had my first date
You were reluctant at first
But finally let me go
You dropped me at his door
And instructed me how he should act

To my dearest daddy

Today my mother left
All the secret sins I’ve dealt with came to light
This is the first time I’ve ever seen you cry
You have shut down and hid
Leaving me to take her place

      Ah i was kinda crying which is why i had to stop. Lol it hasnt always been this way and the next park is well hard..

      But sorry i made you cry too em!!!
