Rose Garden:

by Scott Cole   Oct 24, 2018

If life was a rose garden
Then we would be those flowers,
With our roots firmly planted
And zealous healing powers.

We would all be lavished
Blessed with sunshine and rain,
With very little limitations
No room to complain.

For we're all a special breed
Sown from the same seed,
With the upmost importance
To stimulate and please.

For we all are beautiful
And we all have a purpose,
Coursing through our veins
And rising to the surface.

Since eyes are drawn to us
From near and afar,
We need to look our best
With our actions up to par.

For we never can tell
Who's empty or broken,
Because our tender bloom
Might be covering up emotions.

For we all will face burdens
Life's pesky bumblebees,
That could just drop in
Whenever they do please.

And don't forget our thorns
We all have our share,
Just alittle reminder
That life ain't always fair.

For trouble is all around
Right underneath our noses,
So do whatever your can
To nourish your fellow roses.

We're all in this together
One flower to another,
And we all will blossom
If we all love each other.
