Marriage Is not a Word, It's a Sentence, A Life Sentence

by Golden AnGel Rhapsodist   Nov 29, 2018

Your words seem like a carbon oxide,
A poison that got me all the time,
You crushed me, powder like,
You killed this little thing inside.

Skillfully, you made me like a servant,
Giving everything you want.
But me? Humiliated, devastated, and abused,
In front of the new girl, your new muse?

I've been blindfolded with this "so called love",
Until I discovered something on your tab.
Who was with you on our anniversary?
Jennifer, Vivien Or Marie?

I should believe my Mother,
"When she said, the gentle sheep will become a monster.
You will know someone when you share
the same roof"
And dear you are the living proof.

You hurt me badly like a knife so deep,
For all the promises you couldn't keep.
You've driven me to my grave,
Because of the thousand lies you gave .

Why I tolerate you to pretend?
In front of your family and friends.
You said, tell anyone we're a happy couple,
Even you made this heart crumpled.

You gave not your words, but all the tensions,
Letting you do your bad intentions.
Made me numb with all my 5 senses,
With this marriage "a life Sentence."

Gel, a sad write, not all marriages are bad. It took me to my third before I got it right. I'm sorry you are going through this. You dont deserve to be someone's other choice. I am happy to see you on the site again, I have missed you- hugs and prayers.
