China In Your Hand

by CJ Maleney   Nov 29, 2018

Twenty years of marriage
Though we spent four years apart
How little did I realise
Just how much you held my heart

The anniversary is china
It's not ruby nor is it gold
Yet it is just as precious
For your heart I also hold

We've endured so much in twenty years
And somehow I think we're stronger
Let's hope for the same again
And if we are still alive then longer

I can't say what the future holds
And so for that I cannot plan
But one thing is oh so certain
I am china in your hand

Wonderful write Craig! It is so true, what your significant other holds is fragile like China, its also strong like steel. I really liked how you did your comparison. Well done and congrats on still making it work.
