I Think Of You - Rondeau

by Everlasting   May 28, 2019

I think of you as starry skies
Who hypnotize my dreamy eyes
Who’s full of stars and is dark too
Who’s also vast with a great view
As if you were a world of fireflies
Or some phenomena that lies
Unseen by many people sometimes
So when the evening comes through
I think of you

And when the day begins to rise
And all I see are butterflies
And sunshine rays amid the sky, blue
With hues of reds and purples too
But also whites and pinks up highs
I think of you

A superb Rondeau. The imagery is lovely weaving nature through as reminders of the one you love means that you are always fated to be thinking of him. An excellent write. Milly x

These forms can either run smoothly or stutter. I found parts were like silk, whereas other parts needed a dry clean. It maybe my reading them, or/and my borrowed spectacles, in which case, bravo, good job and jolly well done. X

You are right! Hehe there are times when we have to decide whether to give up meaning or make it really smooth! Can’t have both unfortunately. Thank you so much.
