A Lily

The cards were unfolded
by petals,
that once belonged
to a flower
that luxuriated
within a field of lilies.

Unveiling
the hidden layer
of sand that held
the concealed.

Instead of wilting,
the three sisters
rode on winds
to find the right way of
life a petal shall lead.

However,
the cruel separation,
tore their precious dream;
longevity.
