Space Travellers

by Mortal Utopia   Aug 19, 2019

On one planet or another,
you once told me
there was something called gravity.

And that if we ever fell from one another,
rather like memories,
we’d fall at different rates and trajectories -

perhaps just like how one of us
are bound to forget a little quicker
than the other.

And thus,
I sometimes wonder,
if you still remember.

I like the idea of relationships being a little like gravity. This simple poem says so much. Milly x
