Descent

by Anne Moore   Feb 6, 2020

I feel myself slipping
I feel myself falling
Slowly but then faster
I try to cling to the
Silk walls
But the silk
Slips between my
Fingertips

Powerful write, Anne! In such few lines, I feel that descent, the desperation to climb up or at least to hold on, yet going through the motions of every fall. Also, the way we sometimes lose control, and we can't always be in control again, just dealing with that reality and trying to still survive and make our mark in this world.

Then make silk ropes, they’re strong!!!!
This is really sad, it’s like even when there is something you want to hang one it slips away from you.
    This is really good!!!
    Take care Anne :)
