Dear John

Mate.

This is so so hard to write!
When we have spent so many drunken nights.
Although they were a few years ago,
I loved each one, just so you know.

You made me laugh,You made me giggle
But to me your life was such a riddle.
You could be the life and soul of a party.
But then get pissed and really arsey.

But those tears of clowns! that we exude.
Are for us to hide and elude.
Sometimes they're false, but often real.
Just to disguise how we really feel.

You were sometimes up and sometimes down.
You played the fool, the perfect clown.
This is just who you were and are,
And you will be missed both near and far.

When I was dark you made me laugh.
No one can ask for more than that!
I wish that I could repay this honour.
But in the next world we will be brothers.

I guess we've done our rights and wrongs.
Sometimes called by the sirens songs.
But in my eyes you were a star.
And I'm sure you'll shine right were you are.

How you passed does devastate .
But I guess you stand by heaven's gate.
Don't be your usual self, both brash and bold.
Because one day we'll be there for you to hold.

If all goes well, we will meet again.
But until such times sleep well my friend.

Craig, as pointless as it may be, I can only say how sorry I am, for him, for his family and obviously for the loss you are clearly feeling.

My friend did not die of the virus, he was stabbed.

Even to this day people are still evil. I am losing faith in humanity!
