Scattering

by Star   Aug 13, 2020

The white cumulous slides over the
deep blue sky in fast motion, as my
weight disperse into the earth beneath.

My body lies motionless yearning
for their shadows; I keep losing
my breath to the blinding sun.

I surrender myself to the dirt
as my eyes slowly give away.
