Space Bound

As the stars unpacked
themselves across the sky,
I watched as the moon
fell asleep behind
your pupils-

and dreams became
the way the light
leaked from
your eyelids.

    Such a dreamy write! The idea of the moon falling asleep behind someone's pupils is genius and so beautiful to imagine. I felt this poem sigh, and I too, sighed along with it. Power to those who dream! :)
