Hot Flash

One more
crystallized star
falling from a menopausal moon
flashes emotions, casting out
what breath I have left within this raging fire pit of demons.
Extending my limbs as wide as the earth is round, catching
snowflakes upon my fingertips, melting into tears as my soul
screams to live-
as I'm buried alive
in a snowbank.
