Surreal

I know a place which still I keep warm
Whenever I'm lost, in my mind it would form
As it is so tranquil, where I am at peace
And each time I visit, my problems all cease

I make sure to go there, at least once a day
Whenever I stop by, I just want to stay
But I don't know why, I have to go back
As compared to this place, it just seems to lack

And a third of my life is devoted to there
But the other two-thirds, are filled with despair
Because sometimes with life, I just want to quit
And then I come here, where it all seems to fit

Though reality is harsh, and there's no such place
I swear that it's real, then see it erase
However I search, I feel like I'm blind
And wherever I look, I know I won't find

I won't be put off and each night return
I miss it so much; I can't help but to yearn
But I'll never give up or lose self-esteem
Because my world is perfect, whenever I dream
