SERENITY (Acrostic).. first attempt at acrostic

by Wayne Gates   Nov 22, 2021

Smiling effortlessly on an overcrowded train
Even when knowing I'll soon be walking in the rain
Reaching my car noticing the sunroof was left open
Enjoying the humor of the moment and how I'm coping
Nothing smells nicer than air after the rain has stopped falling
Intuitively flowing thru situations that once seemed appalling
This gift I have been given, the presence to stay in the moment
Years living in fear before it was clear, this is my bestowment

A positive and inspiring breath of fresh air. Living in the moment and being grateful for what we have instead of what we want are recipes for serenity. A wise write. Milly x
