Your tread of love upon my heart brings light
Though hard you fight to make me feel alright
Winter chains hold tight won't let me go

Not warmth nor kindly deeds can end this woe
shadowed clouds hold captive my shallow mind
with taunts of freedoms I can never find

    Wow, this is amazing! I love the poem, but it makes me wonder what happened to you/your mind or if it's just naturally... tortuous? Haha. Also I love the title, it seems to also compliment the poem, which something I've struggled to do.
