I agree. The last line is so powerful and has so much weight to it. What an impactful ending. A wonderful write.

That ending line - I can't get over! Going to come back to this in a few days. I love the meaning of forgiveness here. And it makes me think how we all perceive forgiveness. Sometimes, it's with relief, and we feel warm and ready to move on. Other times, I feel there's a coldness, an emptiness, something we can't explain. I don't ever feel like forgiveness is owed - it's such a personal thing already. Great to see a new poem from you <3
