Officially missing you

The sound of silence
can be heard in the next room
and the walls surrounding me
continue to pulsate vibrantly

The irritating sound of which
the songbirds sing continue to
pull me into a voidless oblivion
while my blue skies turn gray

The rain, I thought would give me bliss
now only drives cold ice into my skin
and my tears incinerate rolling down my hands
as I gaze upon its crimson-like color.. like fire

brutal agony awaits me as I sleep
and cold depression welcomes me with open arms
as I awaken with tears gathering behind my eyes
I finally felt the true form of sorrow

multiple visions of my love haunt me to this day
and dreams of "what could have been"
slowly eats away at my mind
I guess it's safe to say....
I'm officially missing you
