The Yellow Fruit

The Yellow Fruit

Grown on a tree green and erect,
Hoping for humans or apes to come and select.
A fruit I am that grows to no end,
A thing harvested as your body's friend.
You take in the potassium that helps you to grow,
But as I am more then a food for you I could be an erotic show.
Positioned in your mouth to go up and down,
I cater to a hunger that bares a smile never a frown.
So take in my delight for I am here to serve,
I am the fruit of love with a lengthy curve.
