You Can't Choose your family

by Dark Savior   Nov 4, 2004

I sit here looking at this clock
watching it's hands "tick tock, tick tock"
i hear them move back and forth
waiting for it to return to it's source

the more you stare the less that appears
the less you stare the more they don't care
the harder you fight the stronger they are
the less you fight then the more heart

to watch it seems like only the blink of an eye
they say it is for your own good but only for their own high
a man and the silver against the world
what was left was a monster that was unheard

*just something i wrote while i was watching a scene in the matrix reloaded trying to sleep*

Thank you again, movies i have seen a lot have put me to sleep, i try to give it more then one meaning...more of a sonata feeling, it is nice to know that someone is picking up on that. I am so glad that you like my poems. i am glad that you like them, it gives me something to write about now. Now that my poems won't go unoticed.

HA the Matrix (any of them) put you too sleep dude it did the complete opposite for me, I was sleepless for weeks wondering when the computer world was going to start taking us over LoL Jokes - great piece again very unique and a very original concept I haven't read anything quite like this poem, I think your choice of words give reader the ability to interpret a million different things - thats what I call talent!
