8 years today
You left this earth
Yet you are not forgotten

You saw your sons
Watch you die,
Too young to understand

You saw your parents
Lose the fight
Of the son they had once loved

You saw your brothers
Cry for you
Yet happy you were free

You saw the way
Your cancer spread
Doubling the pain

I saw the way
You held on tight
Living till the end

I saw the hope
In your eyes, that
You would soon be gone

You got your wish
Flew to heaven
Left your painful life

We miss you loads
We aways have
Yet know you are at peace

in memory of Uncle Mike- forever in my heart
