Isn't There Someone

by Vanessa Lea   Jan 19, 2005

Isn't there someone you haven't called in awhile?
Isn't there someone you've left behind?
Isn't there a memory of someone far away?
Someone who's face imprinted on your mind.
Isn't there someone who's paid for your mistakes?
Isn't there someone who's never complained?
Isn't there someone who it seems you have forgotten?
Yet in the world of you they have remained.
Isn't there someone who's always been kind?
Isn't there someone who's stayed strong?
Isn't there someone who deserves your attention?
And didn't you do this someone wrong.

Great peice, it really fit together well, and the use of questions thoughout really makes the reader think.

hey that was also a good one...
but the one line in the middle...
sorta through the poem off track...
the ending line really put it together...
    i gave you a four...

Sad, yet sweet poem. I really liked the way that the whole poem was sort of composed of questions that were already answered. Great job. You've got a lot of talent. Keep up the good work!
