You used to make her scream

Took everything out on my mother
You used to make her scream
And even when i was a baby
You'd put nightmares in my dreams

Why did you used to hit her
And throw her against the walls
Did making her so scared
Make you feel so tall

All i ever wanted
Is to have a normal father
Unfortunately i found out
The drugs is what you rather

Ive never had a real dad
Family struggled on its own
You could of supported us
Instead of getting stoned

Dad I'm no longer scared of you
And for now i will no longer hurt
No longer have control of me
Because your nothing but dirt

    Wow, that is sooo sad...I kinda relate to it. My dad use to be like that, but he NEVER did drugs and he has always been in my life. Great poem, very emotional.
