My Broken Vow

For Shaun...

I swore to love nevermore
but affection is now attempted.
Words of mind lure me in-
my vulnerability is never exempted.

The heart and soul that beats
through the occurence of pain,
the wisdom grew of life to teach
Through your personal gain.

What if I could fall again
to give this broken heart to you?
I wonder if you could mend these pieces
or let this smoldering pain renew?

Every broken road should be blessed
Looking to fill the empty expanse,
I love who you are and I want to know more,
but do you want to give me that chance?

    hey girl! sorry i have been so busy lately and i havn't been commenting as much as i wish i could, lots of school projects and drivers ed, i'm trying to keep up but hopefully you can understand! but ok for the poem it's great it shows how someone could have a crush, and love someone but the questions seem to fill thier mind, someone who has been hurt and is taking another chance. it's great keep it up!
