Love is a powerful word
One that before I met you
I had only ever heard
But now I know it’s true

Love is a wonderful gift
Something amazing when shared
When it’s true the soul will lift
Even more when with you it’s paired

Love is a deep feeling
Felt from the soul out
The gift of love is amazing
I know this without a doubt

Love is a true blessing
Sent from the lord above
Coming from you it’s more than a thing
Simply because its you I love
