Sunglasses

Don't know what to say, stumbling over my feet
i can hear the song but can't move to the beat

I've had a wonderful life under the darkened night
it was washed away with a simple little flash light

the noise is gone replaced by a soft voice
the darkness is gone, did i even have a choice?

i looked into the lights soul, and it into mine
had a whole conversation, lips never part one time

the wool taken away, sunglasses removed
it was the first time i was allowed to choose

the darkness is gone replaced by light; forever
the light has a name and it goes by Heather.
