A smile so fake

Put on a fake smile once again
like so many times before
she will wear it until the end
until she can't take it anymore

Little comments here and there
still pretending to smile
pretending not to care
but only for at little while

Beneath it all is s broken girl
who is ready to die
ready to give up and leave this world
and to say goodbye

Every day is the same as yesterday
nothing has changed for years
she still cut the exactly the same way
trying to get rid of her fears

Tonight she will take out the blade
and run it across her softly skin
then later regret the scars she made
when she pressed the blade too deep within

But for now she will wear her smile so fake
pretending to be happy
knowing that her facade is soon to break
tonight when she sets her soul free
